Hudson Community Television is operated by the Cable Utility Committee, made up of members appointed
by the Board of Selectmen.
The Policy and Procedures Manual for the Hudson Community Television was adopted by the BOS on May 26, 2009.
Powerpoint standards for HCTV presentations
HCTV gives live cablecasts of Town Meeting and Annual School District Meetings, and live Election Day results. In addition, Board of Selectmen meetings and Hudson School Board Meetings are covered by live broadcasts. HCTV also has a broadcast truck used for remote recording of events. Please consult Channel 22 for a community bulletin board and schedule of broadcasts. HCTV shares Channel 22 with the Town of Litchfield.

Funding for HCTV is provided by the franchise fee on resident cable subscribers.
The Cable Utility Committee was established September 28, 2004. Its members are appointed for
three-year terms. There are nine voting members: seven citizen cable-user members, one selectman and one school board appointee.
The number of members was increased by two on December 13, 2005.
